Creates a composite object consisting of sharply or smootly connected ellipsoid, hyperboloid, cone and cylinder objects.

The tool uses the first two entered points to define the symmetry axis. The remaining points define the surface of revolution. Every successive point creates a new quadric object that is joined with the previous object. The Ctrl key enables/disables smooth joining of consecutive sections. Correspondingly, the created object consists of cylinders, cones, hyperboloids and ellipsoid objects.

Surface angle, section thickness and radius can be set numerically from the measuring window.

[Note] Note
The tool does not automatically create concave sections, if the drawing direction is reversed against previous sections. The user can perform the required Boolean operations manually after the tool has created the quadric components.
