When RendW is started, it creates a task bar icon, through which you can control various rendering options (Windows and Mac OSX versions only). There is a pop-up menu associated with the task bar icon, containing the following items:
Open the window for controlling the daemon's options
Start the network rendering daemon (RendD) and allow network users to access the workstation for rendering.
Stop the network rendering daemon. The workstation no longer provides network rendering services. Ability to enable/disable the rendering daemon is particularly useful when the rendering resources are shared using automatic network rendering. Users can add and remove resources to the rendering network in an easy, flexible way.
Shuts the RendW program down completely, removing the task bar icon and stopping the network rendering daemon.
